Making Lunch for Residents of Delores Project

Join us a Kids Kindness Project community service event right here in Denver, Colorado! Kids ages 8 and above are welcome to join us, as we make 50 brown bag lunches for individuals experiencing food insecurity and who are presently housed at the Delores Project, which provides safe, supportive shelter and housing for unaccompanied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness, empowering them toward stability and self-sufficiency.

In addition to packing lunches, kids will be encouraged to decorate and write an inspirational message on the brown bags.

The host family will be providing the lunch ingredients and supplies, but donations are certainly welcome!  Breakfast treats will be provided for our volunteers!
